Thematic Jurors from Latin America in Philanippon 2011.
With great satisfaction we were informed that two Latin American thematic jurors were selected by the Organizing Committee to work in the world FIP exhibition Philanippon 2011, to be held in Yokohama, Japan, from July 28 to August 2, 2011. They are Reinaldo Macedo, from Brazil, and David Braun, from Mexico, who will act as Apprentice Juror. We wish to Reinaldo and David a very good judging service.

Thematic Collections at the Philatelic Exhibition "Paraguay-Bicentenario 2011"
As informed by the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition Paraguay-Bicentenario 2011, to be held in Asunción from 6 to 11 of May, 2011, we will have a total of 16 thematic exhibits, representing 5 FIAF-member countries, as follows: Argentina (2), Brazil (11), Uruguay (1), Venezuela (1), and Spain (1). Additionally, in the One Frame class, 8 more exhibits will be in competition, from 3 countries: Brazil (5), Uruguay (2), and Venezuela (1). Although only five countries had submitted thematic exhibits for this philatelic event (with more participants from Brazil), it is gratifying to see that we have a good diversification of thematic exhibitors, especially from South America.
The FIP Jurors who will work in this exhibition are: Bernard Jiménez (France, Team Leader), Bernard Beston (Australia) and Luiz Paulo Rodrigues Cunha (Brazil).

Regarding Bernard Jimenez’s Seminar (“How to build up a good thematic collection”), the Schedule of Events announced by the Organizers define that the seminar take place the day May 7 at the 18:00 hours.

ATA National Topical Stamp Show 2011
Va a ser realizado en Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) el tradicionalísimo National Topical Stamp Show del año 2011, programado para los días 24 al 26 de Junio de 2011, teniendo por local el Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel. Integran el Cuerpo del Jurado los siguientes filatelistas: Ann Triggle (Nueva York, Líder del Grupo), Joseph Frash (Ohio), Frederick Lawrence (Arizona), Nancy Clark (Massachusetts), y Elizabeth Hisey (Florida). Como Jurado Aprendiz actuará Robert Henak, de Wisconsin.
